To register as a new Eleonora user just follow the link on the main page by clicking on the appropriate button. You'll be brought to a page containing an empty form. When you're done filling it in, just click on the button 'register'. That's all!
For security's sake, Eleonora requires new users to provide a personal nickname/password when registering the first time. Those nickname/password will be stored in crypted form in the Eleonora archive and hence will not be accessible to anyone, so please be careful not to lose them. Should this happen please contact the webmaster of Eleonora, at the address webmaster@speedit.com. He will give you instructions on what to do.
The registration form contains only informations needed by Eleonora to provide a fully functional and effective service. The timezone, for example, is required to make sure that e-mail notifications are sent during the night before the notification date, so that in the morning you'll find notifications regarding the starting day.
Your nickname and password will be required every time you connect with Eleonora on the web. Writing them down somewhere might be a good idea.
It is crucial to provide a valid e-mail address. It must be a complete address of the form name@address.domain and it will be used to send notifications. Should the e-mail you provide be wrong, Eleonora will not be able to send notifications. Please be aware that most of the user's personal data, except for the nickname/password, can always be modified later on (see next section).
Once registered, you will be able to directly log-in from the main page by inserting the nickname and password you chose when registering.
